“I have a bank of beautiful reference images I go through when I looking for inspiration. With this exhibition I was trying to step out of my norm and explore uncharted territory, moving briefly away from my traditional portraits.. however this photograph kept calling to me. This horse is beautifully turned out, awaiting its mount in the paddock seeming very calm. It’s kind eye saying to the jockey “if you look after me, I will look after you”.

The original works are the ‘one off’ original artworks created by Emily Johnson at her studio in Gloucestershire. Original artwork comes framed in a beautiful dark solid wood float frame. Please allow an additional 4-6cm on length and height sizes to allow for framing.
